How To Draw a Face with David Pell In-Person
David will present a 45-minute demonstration on drawing a face followed by time to try it yourself. You may bring a picture to work from or invite an attendee to pose for you. We promise there is a waste basket at the door for any feelings of perfectionism! He looks forward to sharing his skills with all--from beginner to experienced. Registration required.
David Pell's first art exploration began at age 12, and he has been drawing ever since! He has been a member of the Irondequoit Art Club for 18 years. During that time he has served on various committees and as club president. His mediums of choice for drawing are charcoal, pen, pencil, marker, and crayon. David has been the recipient of "Best in Show", and multiple "Juror" awards for his portrait work at our art club shows. You may be familiar with his work if you have attended those past shows at the library.
Library programs are open and beneficial to all. We invite people with physical and/or cognitive disabilities to attend any of our activities and will strive to support individual needs. If you need accommodations to participate, please contact one of our Inclusion Coordinators, Matt Krueger and/or Amy Holland, one week prior to the program.
