Build An Air Plant Terrarium with Prismatic Gardens In-Person

Introduce a charming botanical element of décor into your home, while bringing new, vibrant life indoors with your very own air plant terrarium! They are living and breathing works of art that will add character to your home or office space; they also make great gifts! Air Plants or Tillandsia, are lovely and almost self-sufficient plants, which make for fun and easy-to-maintain indoor gardens. As their name implies, air plants thrive on mostly air, and occasionally require some water.

In this program, you will make and personalize your very own air plant terrarium to take home with you and care for. Open to patrons 18 years-old and up; registration required due to limited class size. All materials are provided, but if you’d like to add your very own special touch, feel free to bring your own miniature decorative accents.

Library programs are open and beneficial to all. We invite people with physical and/or cognitive disabilities to attend any of our activities and will strive to support individual needs. If you need accommodations to participate, please contact one of our Inclusion Coordinators, Matt Krueger and/or Amy Holland, one week prior to the program.
