Adventures through Slovenia with Christine Simons In-Person
Travel to the beautiful Central European country called Slovenia with librarian Christine Simons. Formerly of the Yugoslav Republic, Slovenia has the alps, a short Adriatic coastline, thick forests and a stunning capital city, Ljubljana. Visit the coastal city of Piran, Lake Bled and its castle, the Predjama Castle built into the side of a mountain, and the magnificent Postojna caves. This program is a follow up to the travelogue, "With Love from Croatia" presented in February.
Library programs are open and beneficial to all. We invite people with physical and/or cognitive disabilities to attend any of our activities and will strive to support individual needs. If you need accommodations to participate, please contact one of our Inclusion Coordinators, Matt Krueger and/or Amy Holland, one week prior to the program.
