Irondequoit Art Club: Gel Plate Mono Prints In-Person
Presenters: Leslie Werlin, retired art therapist, artist, and member of the Irondequoit Art Club will explore the process of making monoprints with a reusable gelatin printing plate.
Description: Participants will learn the basics of using a gelatin plates with stencils, stamps, and other textural objects to create images on paper. Prints can either stand on their own or be further embellished with other art materials. Participants should bring an art smock, a gel plate and brayer if they have them, and any other materials they would like to use. There will be several gel plates to share. Paint and paper will be provided.
