Intro to Community Resources for Older Adults and Caregivers: Longevity Focus In-Person
The confluence of increasing longevity and the aging of the baby boom generation is creating an unprecedented age wave in the United States. Today 56 million Americans are 65 years or older. In a decade, 72 million Americans will be 65 years or older.
We will discuss what this means for housing, transportation, caregiving, Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.
This 4-part series is offered in partnership with Lifespan, a regional nonprofit that is a trusted source of unbiased information, guidance and more than 30 services and advocacy for older adults and caregivers. More information can be found on their website.
