Tea Tasting with Happy Earth Tea - Celebrating and honoring Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month In-Person

Niraj Lama, owner of Happy Earth Tea will make a presentation on tea and its various traditions from the tea growing regions of Asia. This will include tasting of several different kinds of tea. Happy Earth Tea was established in 2011 by Niraj Lama and his wife Mary Boland in Rochester, NY. Niraj hails from Darjeeling, India – a region that produces some of the world’s finest black teas. In 2017, CNN noted the business as one of the best 11 tea bars in the world. In April 2022, national food magazine Bon Appetit included Happy Earth Tea as one of its recommended tea vendors.

Happy Earth tea is committed to curating some of the best organic and sustainably produced teas in the world.

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, which celebrates the cultures, traditions, and histories of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
