Go for Gold Youth Financial & Job Skills Empowerment Program with Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester In-Person
Attention Teens! Are you ready to take control of your financial future and have fun doing it? Join Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester for an engaging workshop designed for local to youth to start learning about money management. In this 90-minute session, you'll learn the fundamentals of money management while gaining valuable skills that will set you up for success. Plus, you'll have the chance to become a certified peer educator, opening up opportunities to earn money while helping others!
Here's what you can expect to learn:
- Financial Capability: Budgeting, saving, understanding credit cards and credit scores, distinguishing between needs and wants, navigating loans, and mastering spending control.
- Interpersonal/Social Skills: Explore the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and professional etiquette in the workplace.
- Professional & Technical Skills: Get hands-on experience with PowerPoint navigation and professional etiquette.
- Communication Skills: Hone your public speaking abilities and learn how to communicate effectively with peers, co-workers, teachers, and supervisors.
For ages 13-18.
