Irondequoit Art Club: New Program - Gel Plate/Open Art In-Person

Please join the Irondequoit Art Club and the Irondequoit Public Library for a hands-on art instruction class lead by Leslie Werlin on gel mono prints and Open Art with Angela Warren.
Gel monoprint: Participants will learn the basics of using a gelatin plate with stencils, stamps, and other textural objects to create images on paper. Prints can either stand on their own or be further embellished with other art materials. Participants should bring an art smock, a gel plate and brayer if they have them, and any other materials they would like to use. There will be several gel plates to share. Paint and paper will be provided.
Open Art: An opportunity to work independently anything you choose in the presence of other artists.
Art supplies will be provided or bring your own.
