IPL Ukulele Meet Up In-Person
Tune up your ukulele and your vocal cords and join ukes-ROC for a Ukulele Meet Up at IPL! Jam with us in this casual playing/singing session focused on songs from the 60s and 70s, but with other eras and genres mixed. This group accommodates a broad range of skill levels--play the chords you know and hone your skills while playing with other musicians. Bring a ukulele and an optional music stand. Twenty-five songs are played at each session. Each song sheet will be projected at the event, and some songs will be accompanied by the artist’s recording. You can view the projected image, bring a personal digital device to access the files or bring hardcopy prints...whichever you prefer.
The group's regular meeting times are the second and fourth Friday of every month from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, but dates can vary so please check the library's Event Calendar for specific dates. No registration is required.
