IPL Genealogy Group - Family Tree Magazine's 101 Best Genealogy Websites List for 2021 Online
Each year, Family Tree Magazine puts together a list of the 101 Best Genealogy Websites. Many websites appear on the list year after year. We will be concentrating on the sites that are new to the list for 2021. Categories that will be covered include: The Big Websites, Family Tree and Sharing Websites, US Genealogy, News and Blogs, Tech Tools, Genetic Genealogy, African American Genealogy, Military Records; UK, Irish and Commonwealth Genealogy, and European Genealogy.
Nancy Cowan, Genealogy Enthusiast and Computer Services Librarian at Irondequoit Public Library will be presenting. She has been working on her own family history for the past 10 years and has recently begun to help others find the answers to questions about their own family histories.
This program will be held online using a communication app/website called Zoom. Registration required with an email address. Participants will receive an email with the log-in information for Zoom.
