CANCELED - IPL Genealogy Group - Getting Started with Your Family History Research: Laying a Solid Foundation In-Person

UPDATE: This month’s meeting of the IPL Genealogy Group has been canceled. Our presentation from Judith Herbert will be rescheduled for sometime in the future and we’ll announce a new date soon.

Judith A. Herbert, Certified Genealogist® has been a member of the Editorial Board of The Record, the quarterly peer reviewed journal of the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society (NYG&B), for the past seven years. Her genealogical book reviews have appeared in The Record and in the National Genealogical Society Quarterly. She specializes in records and research in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts, from the Colonial period to the early twentieth-century. She teaches genealogy classes and is a guest lecturer for genealogical groups in the northeastern United States. She served as mentor for the ProGen 38 Study Group. Judith has been assisting clients with their research for over fifteen years. She lives in New York’s Capital District.
