IPL Genealogy Group - Family Tree Magazine's 101 Best Genealogy Websites List for 2022 with Nancy Cowan Online
Each year, Family Tree Magazine puts together a list of the 101 Best Genealogy Websites. Many websites appear on the list year after year. We will be concentrating on the sites that are new to the list for 2022. Websites that will be covered include: Cemeteries, Historical Newspapers, Military Records, Historical Maps, Family Trees and Sharing, Immigration, Genealogy Tech Tools, and Genetic Genealogy.
Nancy Cowan, Genealogy Enthusiast and Circulation Supervisor/Librarian at Irondequoit Public Library will be presenting. She has been working on her own family history for the past 11 years and has helped others find the answers to questions about their own family histories.
Participants can view this program at home via livestream using Zoom. Registration required with an email address. Participants will receive an email with the log-in information for Zoom.
