IPL Genealogy Group - I Have a Civil War Ancestor... Now What?, with Brian Rhinehart In-Person / Online

Brian Rhinehart is the creator of the website https://civilwarrecords.com/  Brian presented to our group last year and the program was so well received that we are asking him back for the 2nd part of his Civil War Ancestor presentation.  Civil War soldiers often left a rich genealogical paper trail.  Many of these records are tucked away at the National Archives in Washington DC.  Learn what records are available for your ancestors only at the National Archives, what records are online already, and how to access all of them.  These records may unlock some of the family stories that have been forgotten over time, as well as break down a brick wall or two!

Participants have the choice of viewing this program in person at the Irondequoit Public Library or at home via livestream using Zoom. Registration required with an email address. Participants will receive an email with the log-in information for Zoom.
