Irondequoit Historical Society: The Women in George Eastman's Life In-Person

The Irondequoit Historical Society welcomes Kathy Connor, Curator of the George Eastman Legacy Collection, who will take a look at all the important women in George Eastman's life, starting with his widowed mother and many lady friends over the years. Kathy will talk about the "Kodak Girls" and the infamous Lobster Quartet that dined with him on lobster regularly at his home while they listened to organ music.

Kathy A. Connor has worked at the George Eastman House for 40 years. She is the Curator of the George Eastman Legacy Collection, and is responsible for the care and maintenance of the Colonial Revival style mansion. This includes all aspects of collection, care and interpretation for over 200,000 artifacts. Kathy also serves as Project Manager for a variety of projects, most recently the restoration of Maria Eastman's bedroom.
