Live Mexican-American Music and Storytelling In-Person / Online

Come celebrate the Sister Library relationship between the Irondequoit Public Library and the Roma Public Library in Roma,  Texas.  Listen to Mexican-American folktales told in Roma Texas, and, listen to live Mexican-American music performed by the local singing group,  Alma de Mexico.

Alma de Mexico has performed in the Monroe County area for the last three years with traditional Mexican American dances, and recently added their singing group.  The members of Alma de Mexico are not only from Mexico, but are from Chile, Argentina, and Colombia.  The group performs in traditional Mexican costume. 

Reservations are required.
